Post bath silliness :)
Ready for an outing!
Little feetsis - so darn cute!
Awww, blissed out w/dad.
So sorry it's been so long, little CJ is really testing our endurance by not being willing to sleep much during the day, and then only in my arms. He's still feeding every 3-4 hours round the clock. We've just started having C. do the late night feed so I can get a decent chunk of sleep - it's such a relief to get more than 2 hours sleep at one time!

CJ is growing fast - he weighs 9.5 lbs and is 22.5 in. long - he is starting to look at me when I'm talking and testing out his smiles! He is such a gorgeous little boy and brings such joy into our lives every day - it's worth every minute of sleeplessness, frustration, and tears! We've started going for walks with the pram every day and that often puts him to sleep, if not at least the crying isn't so loud outside! I've also been going to a mother's group once a week - it's great to talk to other moms with the same concerns - and we all go out to lunch after!
CJ seems to do very well when we go out, so I plan on doing more of that once he has his immunizations. Unfortunately they are having a whooping cough epidemic here so it's not safe to have him out a lot just yet. Craig and I had to be vaccinated as well (it has tetanus included- ouch!) - and even my mom will need to get one before coming to visit.
We managed to get out this week to visit CJ's girlfriend Jasmine ;) My good friend S.'s little girl who is 4 weeks older than him. It was really nice to get out of the house and to have a chat w/an adult and feel like a normal person!! C and I have managed to make it out to breakfast at the weekends as well - our little man seems to sleep just fine after a walk or a drive to the cafe.

Wow...I remember those early days of bleary life! I love that you're calling him CJ...very cute! Yes, it's a blessing that they sleep in their infant seats on the go, isn't it? I sure hope he begins to settle into a more predictable routine for you. They usually do around 6 weeks, but those first weeks are so hard! I remember thinking that weeks three through eight were the hardest...your utter amazement at the baby is wearing off, but the lack of sleep or any me time is bringing you down. Once I taught my boys to sleep through the night (yes, you can teach them if they're big enough!) around 8 weeks I felt like a new person...like I was coming out of a sleep-deprivation cocoon or something!
CJ is so cute! And now I can tell he is a little guy! Congratulations to both of you again! And once you start sleeping more I'm sure we'll get a lot more pictures! =)
I love the picture of him on his dad's chest! It's so precious!!!
Oh so teeny tiny! CHERISH this tiny time because it goes by entirely too fast!
