Cyn and Red plus two!: 2 months...

Silly time with Daddy :)

CJ is two months old today and he seems to be changing by the day. He has totally lost that newborn look and you can see what an adorable little boy he's going to be (okay, so I'm a bit biased)!

He still can't totally sit up or hold his head up on his own, but he can almost do it - his neck is much stronger now and I reckon it won't be long. His eyelashes are all dark now, but still super fair at the tips - very pretty! He smiles at us when we talk to him and makes lots of different coos, squeaks, and giggle type sounds. He's started spitting up more - yucko, but nothing major, lucky for us. He is very hungry lately - we've been giving him an extra bottle of formula or expressed breast milk at least once a day after I feed him because he's just crying his head off. He slept for 5 hours yesterday afternoon and another 5 in the evening - a first! He has started to look and smile at toys that are dangling above him - he especially likes his Tigger toy that lights up and plays music :)

For those of you that don't know - we are going to have to move again, we've been in our place a year and the owner wants us out now that our lease is up. We are happy to move so that we don't have to deal with weekly open houses and wondering if an investor will buy or not, but it was a bit of a shock to only get 18 days notice! Luckily they are giving us another 2 weeks - so we have until 2 May. We have been going out every weekend and some weekdays for the past few weeks looking at rentals and we finally found a place we really like this weekend. I sure hope we get it, if not we have some alternatives in mind. I'm a little worried about the stress of moving with (and for) CJ, but my mom will be here on Friday - so I'll have some helping hands :) Of course I'm a little worried about where she's going to sleep, but we'll figure it out!
