dada

We had another swim lesson this week and Daddy went in the water this time. CJ did very well again and didn't even cry when Craig dunked his face too far in the water and got him choking and sputtering.






























Well, I knew it most likely to happen...and sure enough, despite all my campaigning for mama, CJ has started saying "dada" first! Of course it's usually more like "dadadadadada dee dee dadada ba ba" etc... It's just in time for Father's Day here (this Sunday), which is quite nice for Craig and I'm happy to hear some progress in the form of a new syllable :)















Unfortunately Calvin's cold has taken a turn for the worse this week, perhaps we shouldn't have taken him swimming, oh well. He now has a yucky cough on top of congestion and a runny nose. Luckily he can still sleep fairly well although we hear him coughing a fair bit and it did wake him up from a nap today. Craig is still hacking and coughing after two weeks, so I don't have high hopes for CJ getting better anytime soon. (I've been a bit sniffly myself)





















CJ's latest silly habits are....
-sticking his tongue out as far as it will go and trying to touch his nose
-leaning as far back as possible in my arms whilst going up(or down) the stairs in order to get a REALLY good look at the chandelier
-pulling mommy's glasses off her face and sticking them in his mouth
-giggling at mommy brushing her teeth, at her pajamas and at her earrings (my little fashionista!)
