A week of Sundays...

Cameron in a cute summer outfit that he has already outgrown!

Our little men :)

This week Big C has been home with me to help out with the little C's. For some reason I have thought it was Sunday almost every single day. During those idle moments either in the middle of the night (4am feeds) or when I'm not really concentrating during the day (most of the time for me these days!) it's taken me a bit to figure out what day it really is. Kind of a nice feeling really to have such a long weekend! I expect I'll be in for a shock next week when Monday rolls around and I'm truly on my own for a whole week.

Huh?!

Cameron has started sleeping more this week and now only feeds twice through the night - phew. Last night he actually slept for 7 hours straight - wow! Unfortunately I did not get to do the same as he started this sleep at 7pm, and then I was up with Calvin at midnight. Poor Calvin came down with a cold yesterday and just would.not.sleep last night, so when I heard him crying at midnight Craig was in there with him and had been trying to get him to sleep for several hours...poor Daddy! Thankfully I was able to convince the little guy to sleep with some mommy cuddles, what little medicine I could get down his throat (while he was kicking and screaming), and lucky timing...I reckon he was beyond exhausted at that point. The only plus was that he slept past 8 in the morning, rare as hen's teeth for us!

Yeah, I know I'm cute!

Proud grandmother :)

We are still giving Cameron formula in addition to my feeding him - he seems to just need that little bit extra despite me having a good milk supply. Hopefully we will wean him off the bottle eventually, but if not it's no big deal. I am coping a bit better now that I'm only waking once or twice a night.

Calvin is starting to narrate what he does and put longer phrases together. He loves to say "I coming" and "I coming stairs" (when we're going down the stairs). He's also really into cooking, cleaning and cutting - and, of course, telling us all about it. He adores his baby brother and says "Oh, baby!" whenever we bring Cameron into the room. Calvin gives Cam heaps of kisses (some not so gentle) and "pats". He's also trying to pick Cameron up, and asking for me to put him on the floor by saying down and pointing at the ground.

I can't believe Calvin will be two in a couple of days - amazing, where has the time gone?!
