Our little man is looking so grown up these days...he's really looking like a little boy now. On the 20th we had a "half-birthday" ceremony for him...we had a bite sized brownie with a half candle in it and a wrapped gift. CJ loved tearing the wrapping paper and chewing on it...and he eventually liked his gift as well (a musical toy)!

Today we took him for a hike in his backpack for the first time and he loved it. It was great for him to be up high and check everything out.

He's sitting up on his own really well now, we were able to sit him on the picnic table and feed him at the park today...very cute!

I've slowed down on introducing new foods, I guess just from lack of time at the moment, but he did have some chicken this week that we cooked on the barbie (marinated in garlic and olive oil)...pureed and mixed with sweet potato - and he loved it!

Tomorrow CJ has his six month vaccinations, so I expect him to be a bit grizzly for the day. Then later this week he'll have his first swimming class...photos to come!
