better late than...

never ;) I just realized I wrote this post a couple of weeks ago and never published it - so it may be a bit of old news, but here it is anyhow!

I talked about milestones for Calvin in my last post, but I've had a few of my own in the last two weeks as well....I've turned 40 (gulp) and there are now less than 100 days until my due date (yikes). Next week I will officially be in my third trimester...definitely a milestone!

We had a lovely trip to Port Macquarie for my birthday...we went to the pool every day and one day went to the beach as well. Calvin LOVES the pool and after a bit of coaxing loved the beach as well (in the end Craig had to hold him back from running straight into the ocean)! We had lots of breakfasts out as there was a pancake place in walking distance and one nice dinner out at a very kid friendly bbq place. Calvin didn't sleep very well at night in the cot we had and was staying up till 8:30 or 9 most nights (on the 2nd night he had a big vomit and so his room stunk the rest of the stay). He also wasn't eating well at dinner and really started acting up...throwing his food on the floor, etc... So, we cut the trip short by a day, but that was alright as my neck and back were hurting from the uncomfortable bed!!
