A day at the beach...

Last month we had a very warm spell (high 90's) and took the opportunity to try out a little beach called Greenwich Baths that is only half an hour from us.  It was quite nice - it's an enclosed private beach that charges a small fee for entry and has shade, chairs, toys for the kids, a cafe, and a shark net...what more could you ask for?!  Also, because it in a protected spot in the harbor there are very few waves - perfect for kids.  We discovered that the boys are not fans of cold water and that we need to get some floating aids for them, but other than that we all had a great time!  Cam ate a fair bit of sand, Calvin refused to go back in the water after he went too deep the first go and went under briefly, but nobody got sunburnt, we had coffees and Calvin had a babycino (steamed milk with chocolate on top), and we got back home in time for naps....a very successful day out in our books!
Ready for the water

Da boys!

Yikes, that water was cold.
