We ended up having a lovely little celebration for Cam's first birthday at a local play center (
Kids Playland) that my mother's group meets at when the weather is too rainy or too hot. On his birthday it was both! That meant it was rather muggy inside, but the kids didn't mind. They all had a great time, especially since we practically had the place to ourselves. Cam's was spoiled with lots of gifts (thanks ladies :) ) and he had a great time crawling around and climbing on all the toys/play equipment. He loved his cake - ate a whole piece (and licked the plate)!
It seems like this year has just whizzed by, I can't believe he's one already, almost walking, almost talking and not a little baby anymore! Sigh...
