October highlights

I'm sorry for the extended radio silence on here, there are lots of excuses, some of
which I will get to later, but for now there are some pics of our activities this last month.

October was a big month for us - we had an 11 day trip to California, partly
for Craig's work,  mostly to visit family. Then lots of Halloween activities once
we got back to Texas.  I'll put up the Halloween pics in another post, even if I
don't get a chance to write much (but maybe I will).  Obviously I have been finding
it very difficult to get around to blogging... if we can get the boys to sleep before 10 at night
and get them to sleep through the night, then that might change (don't hold your breath)!

While we were in California we had gorgeous weather, so we went to the beach a few times:
A beach fort we found.

Beach cuddles with Mum-Mum
And the boys had their first trip to a little Santa Cruz pumpkin patch. (It's no Half Moon Bay,
but they had lots of fun!)
First trip to a pumpkin patch - they LOVED it!

Then Mum-Mum treated us to a day at the Roaring Camp Railroad. They LOVED the
big steam trains and all the fun harvest activities that were going on.
Enjoying the view from the train in the Redwood forest.

They even got a free pumpkin.
We couldn't go to Monterey without a trip to the Aquarium. There were so many great
hands on activities for them - it was a fun packed day.

More fun at the aquarium
They had a couple of little plays at my dad's house in Monterey:
Dirty fun at Gma & Gpa's
Plus some trips to the park:
Swinging with Gma

A man of many hats!
 Some fun at the hotel:
Swimming at the hotel

A pillow fort at the hotel

Another lovely day at the beach
One of their favorite parks was Dennis the Menace in Monterey:
Whee!

They really liked this slide!

Argh!

Down the wiggly slide with Gma!
