At 20 weeks exactly I finally started feeling the long awaited movements so many had asked me about (and so many online friends have felt sooner) - and it hasn't stopped since! I am 22 weeks along now and C. got to feel movement on the surface for the first time last weekend - he was thrilled to experience his little tadpole kicking away! It is an odd sensation that's for sure - I think I skipped past the lovely stages described in the baby books as bubbles or butterflies, perhaps because my placenta is anterior (at the front) preventing all but the strongest kicks from coming through. Mostly it just feels like poking and prodding from the inside, with the occasional jab that makes me jump! I swear the other day someone was tap dancing on my bladder - LOL - C. finds it all endlessly amusing.

I have a serious bump now - no doubt I am pregnant, and I'm starting to really feel that way - it's already getting tough to get up from the sofa, I think we'll need a crane in 3 months!! It's amazing to see my body changing and looking so incredibly feminine (C. is absolutely loving it - what a sweetie), my profile still catches me off guard from time to time when I look in mirror. We're just so lucky that this worked and that we're able to have this experience, warts (i.e. acid reflux and headaches) and all!

I love seeing a bit of your lives (all four of you...how is Chloe?)
I can't believe you're waiting to find out the sex! I would have gone crazy not knowing!
I'll look forward to your updates!
Wow, look at you and you're bump! I know you've been waiting for this for a long time - Martin and I are both so happy for both of you. We wish we could be closer to share it all with you, but at least the blog will help - I can't wait to see the bump grow!
Love to you both!

Thanks Linn - I love your blog - so cool! Cloe is still doing well - amazingly - she's lasted longer than expected, which we appreciate. :)
