Looking good from head to toe...

At 19weeks we had what's called the morphology scan. At this one they measure the lengths of bones, size of the head and belly, and look at the heart function. Once again all is well and within normal range - yay! During the scan the baby was quite uncooperative - they had me try all kinds of tricks to get the baby to move it's head to a position where they could scan it. I had to cough, lift up my hips and wiggle them, turn on my side, and finally they sent me out for a 15 minute walk. It gave C. and I a chance to tour a bit of the hospital and the baby did finally move so they could get all the measurements. This was my chance to find out the sex of the baby, and I was seriously tempted, but I stayed strong and decided to wait (I think if I had been on my own I might have caved in and asked!!).

It was great to get another detailed look at the baby, although we were disappointed to not get any good 3D shots due to the position. Oh well, here's the few shots we got...the top is another profile, the middle one a close up look from the above of the lips and nose (nose to the right) and the last the feet (no dad those aren't webbed!).
