Saturday he got his first TOOTH - HOORAY! It's his lower right tooth - coming in at a crazy angle for now, but I'm sure that will change when there's a few more in there :) He was pretty fussy the day before, but we didn't figure it out till Craig put his finger in CJ's mouth at lunch and felt the tooth! Once we got him some gel for his gums and some pain relief he was all better and would eat again. He woke up once around midnight and needed some more pain meds, then he was fine - phew!

It's amazing how after a couple of months of slow progress he suddenly seems to be changing in leaps and bounds again. Our days are very different now with a baby on the move...he is constantly into everything - he would rather open up our entertainment unit and pull out CDs than play with any of his myriad of toys! He pulls himself up immediately on anything he can grip, he can stand while just holding on with one hand, or while holding on to something wobbly and is cruising along the ottoman to our knees and if we're on the ground crawling up our laps to get to things on the sofa. All in all he is keeping me on my toes (especially as laptops and power cords seem to be his greatest objects of desire)!
I decided to get a playpen to maintain a bit of sanity and keep him safe when I'm not in the room - hopefully he won't be climbing out if it by next week!!
