Turkey day :)

Calvin had his first Thanksgiving last weekend - it's not quite the same here as no-one has Thursday off, it's so hot you have to run the a/c, and it's difficult to find a frozen turkey, much less a fresh one. However, I made a mini turkey meal for us Friday night with precooked turkey breast and fresh made stuffing, green beans and pecan pie.

Luckily we had a good friend I've met through mother's group who is American as well (the one that had the Halloween party) and she invited us to her Thanksgiving meal on Saturday. It was lovely - 6 adults, 3 bubs and lots of fabulous food :)

CJ ate a bit of turkey, some sweet potato and some green beans, but he was too tired for pie so we put him down in her porta-cot and he had a nice sleep until we were ready to head home.
