Here's our bub, sleeping away in utero, the stuff on the right is from having his (her?) hand right up next to the face! (head is tilted to the left) Isn't that nose cute? How about those lips? I'm getting really excited about meeting this little one!
I am 37 weeks along today and technically full term - wowsers! At this point the baby is fully developed, but still benefits from every day spent in utero, however s/he could come any day now. Eeeek - we definitely have to finish up the nursery and pack that hospital bag!
I also had an ultrasound this morning to check the baby's development and check it's growth, especially to make sure that s/he hasn't put on a lot of weight due to my gestational diabetes. The best part was to get another good look at our bubs and we actually got to see the face today and got a decent picture (although s/he still had a hand up in the face - like every other time!).
I am thrilled to say that all the measurements were right on for 37 weeks - the weight, head size, bellly size and femur length were all measured and all fell right into the average size - yay! Right
now the baby is measuring 6lb 12 oz (3.1K) - sounds pretty good to me!

How exciting! Ultrasounds have come a long ways since Tyler was born! I can't wait to see who s/he is! Wish we could be there to cuddle him/her just as you were for ours!
