10 years and counting

Us at the Sydney Starbucks - sorry it's a bit blurry, it's the only one we took!

Wow, it's been 10 years since Mr. C and I went on our first date at Starbucks in Corona Del Mar. Since we couldn't make it back there this year to celebrate we decided to go in to a Starbucks in Sydney. You can't walk to the beach from there for a romantic picnic, but you are right on the harbour and can go have a look at the Opera House and the Bridge - which is pretty darn good!

Me looking a lot more tired than I realized and quite pregnant!!

We had a lovely time, did a bit of reminiscing, C. had some scrumptious looking mocha frappuccino thing plus an espresso brownie while I had my decaf sugar free vanilla latte - so not fair!! We also had a chance to walk around the market at the Rocks and purchase a nice blanket for the baby from a place we have always admired. Then yummy burgers for lunch and we were off to run baby related errands (whatever did we do with our weekends before this?!).

Our very Australian blanket for the cot - we've always wanted a pram liner from Cuddly Creations, but since I already got one somewhere else we decided to get a cool blanket instead!

Mr. C got a very early birthday present as I bought it off ebay and we had to go pick it up - a fancy baby backpack for when bubs is a bit bigger :)

We've been enjoying watching the rippling and general lumpiness on my belly in the evenings as we sit and watch tv. The baby is still moving quite a bit - seems to be turning from one side to the other, kicking me in the ribs and generally having a good ol' time in there! (thankfully staying head down though) I've tried to catch it on video with my digital camera, I'm not sure how good it is, but here goes....(all the action is on the right side of my belly, ignore the tv sounds in the background, and no I'm not naked!)
