So here we are at 38 weeks and counting. The nursery is just about done and certainly done enough for a wee little creature that can't see 8 inches in front of it's face! I feel done as well, my hospital bag is packed (mostly), my belly is huge and most anything I do makes me 1) hurt, 2) tired, 3) grumpy, 4) all of the above!
Here are the good things - the baby is still moving heaps (so I know it's healthy), the weather is unbelievably cooperative (as in unseasonable cold - 68 degrees and rainy yesterday - how's that for the hottest month of the year?!), and Mr. C and I did a very fun project today (his Valentine's day gift to me).

Our project was a 'belly cast' - he bought me a kit with a tarp, belly goo, plaster strips and directions so that we could make a cast of my big ol' pregnant belly (and boobs)! It was great fun and a nice bonding project - I think it'll be gorgeous when it's all dried out and smoothed and possibly painted.
