We had an early start Christmas morning (6am - Calvin's usual wake-up time), so CJ got to open up his stocking in bed with us. Then we headed downstairs for brekkie and a couple more gifts. It took us two days to get Calvin to open all his gifts as he was quite slow at it and mostly wanted to play with everything and the boxes it all came in :) (especially with meals and bottles and naps in between it all) Calvin is thoroughly spoilt (no surprise there) and has some wonderful new toys that he is enjoying immensely.

We even had time on Christmas day to go out to a local national park for a walk which was absolutely packed with people having family gatherings. We had a short walk as it was quite warm and muggy. I cooked a ham, some green beans and sweet potatoes for Christmas dinner which we all enjoyed. CJ especially liked the ham...stuffing numerous pieces in his mouth at once! It was lovely talking to most everyone on skype - Calvin now recognizes the ring on skype and heads over to the laptop to be entertained :)
